An Illusion beyond your naked Vision

Stereoscopic 3 Dimensional depth perception or simply 3D is a technology that used now a days on some film movies, pictures and even on architectural design. Many people including myself find it entertaining fun to deal with and love to experience many times. It was like your viewing capability are being enhance to set your mind in seeing object in a three dimensional perspective that "POP OUT" and make them wander around our world to make us feel them too.

The excitement and my urge to know on how 3D viewing is being subjected were started when I watch a horror movie in 3D with the use of anaglyph glass on a 3D theater in a theme park called Enchanted Kingdom. If you're asking me what I feel and experienced I cant actually explain in words but it was amazing. Everything on the movie including the character the background images their theme are look likes popping out on the screen and wanted to co-exist besides us. The most shocking part was the feel that your body are being grabbed and then they bring you to a chamber and you need to find a way to sneak to the zombies and get out (in the story you are the character that trying to get out on the haunted mansion). With the effects that theres really someone touching you and the chair were you are sitting are moving like crazy that your being pull inside. It was a wow. The need to avoid the zombies attacking you with an Axe (it was really scary) and suddenly a cat that came out of nowhere and begin to shout in front of your face with the exact timing of the effects of a strong wind that fill up in your face. Can you imagine the thrill of that movie in 3D vision with the exact timing of effects matters around the room. And remember that the're going out on your screen.

3D Glass

Now have you wander on how 3D works???
Heres a picture that can explain on how 3D works
Anaglyph (a red and blue glass)
Two images are projected onto the screen one for each eye. Two images that have a slightly different perspective. Each lens will block a different layer in the eye they are covering and each eye will see different images. Your visual vortex combines these views and your brain perceives this as a popping 3D images.

3D Side Effects

Fluorescent lighting may cause a flickering effect and a direct sunlight may affect the operation of the 3D glasses. Turn off all fluorescent lighting and block sources of direct sunlight before watching in 3D mode.

This are some of the side effects

  • Do not use the 3D Active Glasses for any purpose other than viewing 3D television. Wearing the 3DActive Glasses for any other purpose (as general spectacles, sunglasses, protective goggles, etc.) mayphysically harm you or weaken your eyesight.
  • Watching TV while wearing 3D Active Glasses for an extended period of time may cause headaches over-fatigue. If you experience a headache, fatigue or dizziness, stop watching TV and rest.
